The food is excellent and authentic to the location. The service is also excellent.

The fried mushrooms are amazing, but everything else I got was subpar, and I couldn't finish it. I do highly recommend the mushrooms, though.

Good place to grab a bite seconds off the Blue Ridge Parkway. They have a good mix of food and everything I’ve eaten here has been good. Good conversations can be had with locals and the staff. If you’re hungry, give it a shot! Gas is also close if that’s needed too.

Can't say enough good stuff about this cheap well run little restaurant. It has good southern comfort food and great desserts, I plan to stop by every time I come through here off the Blue Ridge Parkway. I have been twice now and both times the staff was friendly and helpful, they keep your drinks full and check on you often.

When I stay in Meadows of Dan in the Fall I can get a variety of Home Cooked meals at Janes...I really enjoy an early breakfast with a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit....Meals are scratch made and the deserts available are Excellent.....Check them out!!

This cafe was a surprise just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. They advertise good food at inexpensive prices and I totally agree. Desserts were homemade and delicious as well. We will definitely be back.

Jane's Country Cafe is a quaint little restaurant right in the middle of Meadows of Dan. We enjoyed a breakfast here recently. We had omelettes, pancakes, grits and biscuits. The service was quick and very friendly. Only critique would be the bathrooms and the coffee. The bathrooms were pretty dirty. The coffee wasnt too good. Otherwise, I'll be back here next time I'm in this area!

If you use GPS it actually takes you to store across the street..I ordered the country fried steak which was delicious. But the beans I got we're barely microwave warm. The corn bread was hard as a ball. String beans were cold.. ...the next morning we decided to try out the breakfast. It was spot on delicious... So we will definitely be going back regardless of the dinner servious.. plus the ladies there are truly welcoming...

Walked in and they said they closed at 7pm, but this clearly says they close at 8pm. I would hate to have to pay my workers for a whole hour they did not work. On top of that, if they did change the time they should fix it so people know.

Very impressed with service and delicious food and desert. We were a party of 6 and we were treated as the only people in the resturant. Beautiful surroundings and people. Encourage you to take advantage of good southern hospitality and food.

When I go to a Mom and Pop diner I expect a nice portion of food. You don't exactly get what you pay for. Very small portions and high prices.

We decided to stop here on our journey and we were not disappointed! The seats fill up fast, but we got our drink and food order in promptly. I decided on the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and potato salad. The chicken and potatoes weren't very hot, but everything had a good flavor. The prices are reasonable and the service was good!

Food: sub-par. But my problem was the waitress. Oooo honey first of all, this woman took forever to come back and serve us again, and when she came back, it wasn't her. That girl checked out. She out the back door idfk. And when the new waitress came around, she looked us up and down and judged our order due to our weight and looks. She was like "i knew YOU were the one who ordered 3 hotdogs" *proceeds to stare at overweight person at table". Like, #1, first of all, no. Don't assume anyone ordered a dish because of their gender or weight. Which was obvious what this gorl was doing. We sat right next to the cash register and it took so long to get our food and the check. Horrible service. Would not feed to a starving orphan child in ethiopia. We left two cents as a tip, because as momo says, "if their service aint worth two cents, just leave two cents". Y'all sexist. Y'all over here profiling people, i see you. Hide yo kids. Hide yo wife.3/10 would not recommend. Have a nice day bye.

Wonderful burgers. Superb service. Busy place. Prices good. Limited seating. Bathrooms are outside - yikes. Recommended. Be prepared to wait for a table.

We ordered the club sandwich with fries. Almost to much to eat at one sitting. It was delicious. I want to visit again to try some more of that great food .

Had the pot roast, flavorful, veggies good, my friend had a chicken fillet sandwich which was good, good sweet tea, cornbread was really good, had oodles of desserts but didn't try any, too full, but they looked delicious.

Have stopped hear several times when I am staying at Willville motorcycle camp ground. Very good food at a reasonable price. Nice people. Real close to the Park way. The whole town of Meadows of Dan is nice.

My favorite place to eat when I'm in the area. Food it always good. The barbeque sandwich with Cole slaw is one of my favorites.

Nice, little place just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Service was good, quick. Food was flavorful: I had the goulash (special) and hubby had the pulled pork. Prices are very reasonable, good value. A good place to remember for future drives.
